On the basis of the issues raised in this chapter, what changes would you incorporate in your lifestyle in a move towards a sustainable use of our resources?

- Compost the kitchen waste such as fruit and vegetable peels.
- Do not use plastic bags.
- Economic use water and electricity.
- Dispose garbage by separating biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials.
- Harvest rainwater.
- Plant saplings.
- Walk or use bicycle for short distances, and use public transport rather than personal transport.
- Make more and better use of renewable sources of energy instead of fossil fuels.
