A large number of solar cells combined in an arrangement to obtain large electrical power is called solar cell panel.
Applications of solar cell panel are:
It provides the electric power for the:
- working of artificial satellites stationed in outer space,
- running of irrigation water pumps by the farmers in rural areas,
- street lighting in remote areas.
