Renewable Source of Energy:
(i) They are constantly supplied by nature and are inexhaustible.
(ii) Low cost of operation.
(iii) They produce little or no pollutants. Thus minimum impact on environment. e.g., wind energy, solar energy.
Non-Renewable Source of Energy:
(i) They do not renew or regenerate and are exhaustible.
(ii) High cost of operation.
(iii) They produce a lot of pollutants e.g., coal, petroleum etc.
