(b) All organisms of herbivore level are eliminated; and
(c) All top carnivore population is removed

(a) Reduction in primary productivity. No biomass available for consumption by higher trophic levels / heterotrophs.
(b) Increase in primary productivity and biomass of producers. Carnivores population will subsequently dwindle due to food shortage.
(c) Increase in number of herbivores
- Overgrazing by herbivores
- Desertification
