Here, the mass of 10 kg is moved horizontally from point A to B. The force of gravity acts vertically downwards. Thus, the mass moves in a direction at right angle to the force of gravity. So, Work done on the object by the force of gravity = Fs cosθ = Fs cosθ 90° = 0 (∵ cos 90 = 0)
Therefore, no work is done by the force of gravity on the object.
