On the basis of the cell wall, differences between parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma are
Parenchyma
1. Cell wall is thin.
2. Made up of cellulose.
Collenchyma
1. Cell wall is thick at angles.
2. Made up of cellulose and pectin.
Sclerenchyma
1. Cell wall hard, rigid, and uniformly thick.
2. Made up of lignin – a waterproof material.
