How can you prepare Cl2 from HCl and HCl from Cl2? Write reactions only.

(i) Cl2 can be prepared from HCl by Deacon's process.
4HCl + O2 \(\overset{CuCl_2}\longrightarrow\) 2Cl2 + 2H2O
(ii) HCl can be prepared from Cl2 on treating it with water.
Cl2 + H2O → HCl + HOCl (Hypochlorous acid)
