Focal length of the object, fo = 1.0 cm
Eyepiece of focal length, fe = 4.0 cm
Tube-length of the microscope, m = LD/fofe
= 20 x 25/1.0 x 4.0
= 5 x 25
= 125
Magnification of compound microscope is, m = 125
