Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum
1. It looks smooth.
2. SER helps in the manufacture of fat molecules or lipids.
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum
1. It looks rough.
2. Ribosomes are attached to RER which synthesise proteins.
