No. of oscillation = 40
Total time is taken = 4 seconds
Time period = \(\frac {time} {number \;of \;oscillations}\)
= \(\frac{4}{40}\)seconds
= \(\frac{1}{10}\)seconds
= 0.1 second
Frequency = number of oscillations per second
= \(\frac{number \;of \;oscillations}{time}\)
= \(\frac{40}{4}\)second
= 10 per second or 10 Hz
