1. When rubbed with fur ebonite gets a negative charge.
2. When fur is rubber with ebonite, fur acquires positive charge.
3. Normally, the layers of cloud facing the earth get negatively charged.
4. Dry air is a bad conductor (or insulator) of electricity.
