The diagrams are given showing reproduction in an organism. Observe the diagrams and answer the following questions.
- Name the organisms.
- Name the type of reproduction.
- Label the diagram.
- Explain the reproduction process.

1. The organism is hydra.
2. Asexual reproduction i.e., budding.
3. A and B – bud.
C – young hydra.
4. A small out growth called bud arises on the surface of the parent hydra. The bud develops mouth, tentacles and grows into a tiny hydra. The tiny hydra separates from the parent hydra and develops into an adult.
