Light of wavelength 6000 × 10–10 m passes through a single slit of width 0.6 × 10–4 m. Find height of highest order of minima on both side central maxima for minima

dsinθ = nλ

sinθ = nλ/d < 1

n < 0.6 x 10–4/6000 x 10–10

n < 100

The total number of maxima of both side at central maxima = 100 + 100 = 200
