Correct answer: (b) 12.7µF
Explanation:
Xc = XL for maximum power transfer
Xc = \(\frac{1}{\omega C}\)
C = \(\frac{1}{\omega X_C}\)
= \(\frac{2}{2 \pi f \times 250}\)
= \(\frac{1}{2 \times 3.14 \times 50 \times 250}\)
= 1.27 x 10-5 = 12.7 µF
