What are the problems caused by the non-biodegradable wastes that we generate?

(i) The biodegradable substances can readily decompose. However, it may give out foul smell during the decomposition process.
(ii) Flies breeding on the biodegradable sub-stances would spread diseases like cholera, malaria, etc.
