(b) A train starting from Railway Station attains a speed of 21 m/s in one minute. Find its acceleration.

(a) Acceleration = \(\frac{Final\;velocity- Initial\;velocity}{Time\;taken}\)

a = \(\frac{v - u}{t}\)

(b) u = 0 m/s

v = 21 m/s

Time, t = 1 min = 60 sec

a = \(\frac{v - u}{t}\)

a = \(\frac{21 - 0}{60}\)

a = \(\frac{21}{60}\)

= 0.35 m/s2
