Initial velocity, u = 8 m/s
Acceleration, a = 1 m/s2
Distance, s = 18 m
Using relation, v2 = u2 + 2as
v2 = (8)2 + 2 x 1 x 18
v2 = 64 + 36 = 100
v = \(\sqrt{100}\) = 10 m/s
