Explanation:
x + 2y = 2
y = \(\frac{2 - x}{2}\)
If x = 0, then;
y = \(\frac{2 - 0}{2}\)
= \(\frac{2}{2}\) = 1
Hence, x + 2y = 2 cuts the y-axis at (0, 1).
