(i) Dilute sulphuric acid is poured on copper plate?

(ii) Iron nails are placed in copper sulphate solution? Write word equations of the reactions involved.

(i) When sulphuric acid is poured on copper plate, copper sulphate and hydrogen gas are produced.

Copper + Sulphuric acid → Copper sulphate + Hydrogen (gas).

(ii) When iron nails are placed in copper sulphate solution, iron sulphate and copper are formed.

Iron + Copper sulphate → Iron sulphate + Copper
