What is xylem tissue? Name the two kinds of cells in xylem tissue. State whether these cells are living or dead.

Xylem tissue is a vascular tissue in plants which carries water and minerals from the roots to the various of the plant.
Xylem tissue has two types of cells: Xylem vessels and tracheids.
Both these tissues are dead cells.
