State the properties of a solution.

Properties of a solution are:
(i) A solution is a homogeneous mixture.
(ii) Particles of a solution are smaller than 1 nm and cannot be seen by naked eyes.
(iii) Do not scatter beam of light.
(iv) Solute particles cannot be separated from the mixture by the process of filtration and thus, solution is stable.
