Homogeneous mixtures
(i) It has uniform composition.
(ii) No visible boundaries of separation.
(iii) They consist of only one phase.
Example: sugar + water → sugar solution.
Heterogeneous mixtures
(i) It does not have a uniform composition.
(ii) Shows visible boundaries of a separation.
(iii) They consist of more then one phase.
Example: sugar + sand
