Capture Fisheries:
- It is a method of obtaining fish from natural resources.
- There is no seeding or rearing of fish.
Inland Fisheries
- It is a method of obtaining fish from fish farming. It includes riverine, reservoir, lake, pond, and estuarine fisheries.
- Fish is seeded and cultured in large cages and ponds.
Aquaculture
- It is a method of obtaining fish from fish farming. It includes mariculture and freshwater culture fisheries.
- Fish is seeded and cultured in coastal waters and lakes.
