Will current flow more easily through a thick wire or a thin wire of the same material when connected to the same source? Why?

The current will flow more easily through a wire which have comparatively less resistance. According to the relation R ∝ \(\frac{1}{A}\), the thin wire has less resistance. So, the current will flow more easily through thin wire.
