Compute the heat generated while transferring 96000 coulomb of charge in one hour through a potential difference of 50 V.

Given, Q = 96000 C, V= 50 volt,
t = 1 hour = 60 x 60 = 3600 s
∴ Heat generated, H = VIt
= VQ = 50 x 96000
= 4800000 = 4.8 x 106 J
