(a) Those reactions in which two or more substances combine to form a single substance is called a combination reaction.
(b) CaO + H2O → Ca(OH)2 + Heat
As heat is released in this reaction, so it is exothermic reaction.
(c) Nitrogen burns in air to form nitric oxide.
N2(g) + O2(g) → 2NO(g)
Heat is absorbed during this reaction.
