100 g of sodium
Number of sodium atoms
= given mass/molar x 6.022 x 1023
= 100/23 x 6.022 x 1023
= 2.62 x 1024
100 g of iron:
Number of iron atoms = given mass/molar mass x 6.022 x 1023
= 100/56 x 6.022 x 1023
= 1.07 x 1024 atoms
Thus, 100 g of sodium has more atoms.
