• World Peace Day
• The Day established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1981 and formally designated in 2001.
• The 2021 theme for the International Day of Peace is “Recovering Better for an Equitable and Sustainable World.”
• It is an initiative of the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) and was first launched in 1958 in Rome, Italy
