Assertion: For a reaction
2NH3(g) → N2(g) + 3H2(g); ΔH > ΔE.
Reason: Enthalpy change is always greater than internal energy change.
(a) If both Assertion and Reason are correct and Reason is the correct explanation of Assertion.
(b) If both Assertion and Reason are correct, but Reason is not the correct explanation of Assertion.
(c) If Assertion is correct but Reason is incorrect.

(c) If Assertion is correct but Reason is incorrect.
Explanation:
Assertion is true but reason is false.
ΔH = ΔE + ngRT
Δng = (1 + 3) - 2
ΔH > ΔE
If the value of Δng is less than one then ΔH < ΔE.
