Correct answer: (a) ≃8 × 104 J mol-1
Explanation:
ΔG° = -RT lnK
= -8.314JK-1mol-1 × 298 K × 2.303 log 10-14
= 7.98 × 104 ≃ 8 × 104 J mol-1
