A gas expands adiabatically at constant pressure such that T ∝ V-1/2. The value of  γ(Cp,m /Cv,m) of the gas will be :

(a) 1.30

(b) 1.50

(c) 1.70

Explanation:

T ∝ \(\frac{1}{\sqrt{}V}\); TV-1/2 = constant

For adiabatic process,

TVγ-1 = constant
