-OMe (II)

- OSO2Me (III)

-OSO2CF3 (IV)

the order of leaving group ability is

(a) I > II > III > IV

(b) IV > III > I > II

(c) III > II > I > IV

(d) II > III > IV > I

Correct answer: (b) IV > III > I > II

Explanation:

The more the electrons withdrawing groups attached to - O atom, the more is the ease of leaving.
