Explanation:

m-eq.FeS4(NH4)2SO4 .6H2O

= m-eq. of KMnO4 (n = 1)

\(\frac{W}{392}\)x 1 x 1000 = 0.1 x 50

Hence, % purity of Mohr's salt

W = 1.96 g

= \(\frac{1.96}{2.5}\) x 100

= 78.4%
