Correct answer: (c) V2O5
Explanation:
Mass of oxide = Mass of metal + Mass of oxygen
2.74 + 1.53 + WOxygen ⇒ WOxygen = 1.21 g
Moles of V = \(\frac{1.53}{51}\) = 0.03
Moles of O = \(\frac{1.21}{16}\) = 0.075
V0.03O0.075
VO2.5 ⇒ V2O5
