Following are the dangers of global warming:
(i) It can cause change in the weather and precipitation patterns on the Earth.
(ii) It can lead to the melting of polar ice caps and subsequently increase in the sea level, which, in turn, may submerge the cities located along the sea coasts.
(iii) It can lead to the melting of methane hydrates in polar ice and on the sea floor, which may increase the methane concentration in the atmosphere (methane burp).
