The function f(x) = |x2 - 2x - 3|.e|9x2 - 12x +4| is not differentiable at exactly :

(2) three points
(3) two points

Correct answer: (3) two points
Explanation:
f(x) = |(x-3)(x+1)|.e(3x-2)2
f(x) = (x-3)(x+1).e(3x-2)2; x ∈ (3, ∞)
f(x) = -(x-3)(x+1).e(3x-2)2; x ∈ [-1, 3]
f(x) = (x-3)(x+1).e(3x-2)2; x ∈ [-∞, -1]
Clearly, non-differentiable at x = -1 & x = 3.
