Solve for x:
\(\frac{x + 3}{x+2} = \frac{3x-7}{2x-3}\)
(a) x = 5
(b) x = -1
(c) both
(d) None of these

Correct Option: (c) both
Explanation:
By cross multiplication
(x + 3)(2x-3) = (x+2)(3x-7)
=> 2x2 + 6x - 3x - 9 = 3x2 + 6x - 7x - 14
=> 2x2 + 3x - 9 = 3x2 - x - 14
=> 3x2 - 2x2 - x - 3x - 14 + 9 = 0
=> x2 - 4x - 5 = 0
=> x2 - 5x + x - 5 = 0
=> x(x - 5) + 1(x - 5) = 0
=> (x + 1)(x - 5) = 0
= -1 and 5 Both
