f = 5 cm
v = -25 cm (virtual image)
\(\frac{1}{v}\) - \(\frac{1}{u}\) = \(\frac{1}{f}\)
\(\frac{1}{-25}\) - \(\frac{1}{u}\) = \(\frac{1}{5}\)
\(\frac{1}{u}\) = -\(\frac{1}{25}\) - \(\frac{1}{5}\)
= -\(\frac{6}{25}\)
u = -\(\frac{25}{6}\)
Magnification, m = \(\frac{v}{u}\) = \(\frac{-25}{\frac{-25}{6}}\)
= +6
