Correct answer: (c) 1.5 N, 8.4 vol
Explanation:
1N = 5.6 vol
Normalities of two solutions are 1 N and 2 N
Normality of mixture
= \(\frac{1 \times 1 + 1 \times 2}{1 + 1}\) = \(\frac{3}{2}\) = 1.5 N
Volume strength = \(\frac{3}{2}\) x 5.6 = \(\frac{16.8}{2}\)
= 8.4 vol
