Correct answer: (a) (i) and (iv)
Explanation:
Addition reaction occurs on a double bond. The compound containing double bonds are also undergo polymerisation. So, the correct option are both (i) and (iv) e.g.
CH2 = CH2 + HOCl → CH2OH - CH2Cl (addition reaction)
nCH2 = CH2 \(\overset{Polymerisation}\longrightarrow\) [-CH2 - CH2-]n (Polyethene)
