The resistance of conductivity cell containing 0.001M KCl solution at 298K is 1500. What is the cell constant if the conductivity of 0.001M KCl solution at 298K is 0.146 x 10-3 S cm-1.

Cell constant = Conductivity x Resistance

= 0.146 x 10-3 S cm-1 x 1500Ω

= 0.219 cm-1
