Depict the galvanic cell in which the reaction
Zn (s) + 2Ag+ → Zn2+ + 2Ag (s)
takes place. Further show :
(a) Which of the electrode is negatively charged?
(b) The carriers of the current in the cell.

Zn (s)|Zn2+ (aq) || Ag+ (aq)| Ag (s)
(a) Zn electrode (anode)
(b) Ions are carriers of the current in the cell.
(c) At anode :
Zn(s) → Zn2+ + e-
At cathode :
Ag+ + e- → Ag (s)
