Keeping the potential difference constant, the resistance of a circuit is halved. By how much does the current change?

Keeping the potential difference constant, the resistance of a circuit is halved. By how much does the current change?

V = IR

I = V/R

Keeping V constant, I ∝ 1/R

So, when R is halved, I also becomes double.
