If 3 resistances of 3 ohm each are connected in parallel, what will be their total resistance?

R1 = R2 = R3 = 3Ω

\(\frac{1}{R}\) = \(\frac{1}{R_1}\) + \(\frac{1}{R_2}\) + \(\frac{1}{R_3}\)

= \(\frac{1}{3}\) + \(\frac{1}{3}\) + \(\frac{1}{3}\) = \(\frac{3}{3}\) = 1

∴ R = 1Ω
