A resistance of 25 Ω is connected to a 12 V battery. Calculate the heat energy in joules generated per minute.

Given: R = 25 ohms, V = 12 V, H = ?, t = 60 sec
V = IR
12 = 25 x I
I = 0.48 amp
We know that
H = I2RT
H = 0.482 x 25 x 60
H = 345.6J/s
