Polyp
- It is the non-motile form of cnidarians.
- It has a cylindrical body.
- It reproduces asexually.
- Examples: sea pen, red coral
Medusa
- It is the free-swimming or motile form of cnidarians.
- It has an umbrella-like body.
- It reproduces by sexual reproduction.
- Examples: Jellyfish, Rhizostoma
