Explanation:

Pinocytosis, or pinching in of the cell membrane, allows cells, such as the Paramecium, to capture larger food molecules. Hydrolysis, is the process of using water to split molecules apart. Cyclosis is a mechanism for transporting materials within a cell, by the cytoplasm swirling. Synthesis is the process of building up molecules within the cell.
