Explanation:

Success of organ transplant depends on proper matching of histocompatibility of antigens that occurs in all cells of the body. As there are antigens which are likely to be attacked by recipient's T-cells and antibodies, the recipient of organ transplant is always given immunosuppressants to prevent immune rejection of the transplanted tissue.
