Calculate the molecular masses of the following compounds:
(a) Hydrogen sulphide, H2S
(b) Carbon disulphide, CS2
(Atomic masses: H = 1 u, S = 32 u, C = 12 u)

(a) Molecular mass of hydrogen sulphide (H2S) = 2 x H + 1 x S
= (2 + 32) u = 34u
(b) Molecular mass of Carbon disulphide (CS2) = 1 x C + 2 x S
= (12 + 2 x 32) u = 76 u
